Religion: Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten use the Loyola Press God Loves Us and God Made Everything student texts. Students in grades 1-4 use the Blest Are We series by RCL-Benziger. Grades 5-7 use the Harcourt Call to Faith series. Eighth grade students use Sadlier’s Church History text. All students in grades K-8 use the RCL-Benziger Family Life series. 

Language Arts: Students in Pre-K use the Little Treasures program by McGraw-Hill. Kindergarten and grade 1 students use the SuperKids Program, designed specifically for the primary grades. The program teaches children to write. Handwriting, spelling, and simple grammar and mechanics are seamlessly integrated into the reading instruction so children see from the beginning that they can read what they write and write what they read. 

Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 use the Reading Street series by Scott Foresman. Students in grades  7 and 8 use a literature anthology by Prentice-Hall. At all grade levels, textbooks are supplemented by trade books. Houghton-Mifflin Grammar books are used in grades 3-8. Zaner-Bloser handwriting is used in grades 2, 3 and 4. Sadlier Vocabulary Workshop books are used in grades 7 and 8. 

Mathematics: Houghton-Mifflin mathematics is used in grades K-5. McDougal-Littell Mathematics, Algebra Readiness, and Algebra texts are used in grades 6, 7, and 8. 

Social Studies: Houghton-Mifflin texts are used in grades 3, 4, and 5 in the study of Communities, the state of Maryland, and United States History. Grade 6 uses the Pearson texts: Foundations of Geography, Medieval Times, the Ancient World, and Asia & the Pacific. Grade 7 uses the Pearson texts: 

Europe and Russia, Latin America, and Africa. Grade 8 uses the textbook Creating America. 

Science: Grades 3, 4, and 5 use the Houghton-Mifflin Discovery Works series. Grades 6, 7, and 8 use the McDougal-Littell science textbooks for Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science.  All students grades K-8 have access to an online e-textbook; as well as, videos and interactive activities through Discovery Education.
