Fun With Story-time 2009-10

We had a wonderful second year with the Story-time Tots program at SJRCS! On average, we had approximately 12 children per month from September through May. Each Story-time had a theme and included a number of books that were read to the children by our Story-time reader, Mrs. Lisa Cutchin. She also had a planned activity or craft with each Story-time session. See our photos below for a review of the Story-time themes and activities.

Mrs. Cutchin is the art teacher and the Quest enrichment teacher at SJRCS. She previously had conducted Story-time programs at Thurmont Public Library.

	Story-time participants wear their “hard hats” as part of February’s Hat theme.
	The caterpillar craft is a hit with one of our Story-time participants.
	Mrs. Cutchin presents a story relating to art during May’s Art & Artists story-time.
