The Home and School Association
(HSA) is a parent support organization. All families
are encouraged to attend the HSA meetings and to participate
in its functions. They also urge all parents
to be involved in their children’s education
by supporting the volunteer efforts of the Home and
School Association.
The role of the HSA is two fold. First, the
HSA provides the volunteers that organize and coordinate
many community building and fundraising activities.
The second role of the HSA is to provide fundraising
income for the school. Each year, the HSA makes
a significant monetary contribution to the school’s
operating budget. This helps to close the gap between
tuition and the actual cost of a SJRCS education.
Mission
HSA will:
- Work to promote open
communication, good will and cooperation between
and among students, parents, administrative staff,
faculty, and other affiliated parties.
- Work to form and support
a strong family-centered environment through social
and community activities.
- Work to support the
educational and social needs of the students by
promoting and sponsoring various fundraising activities.
