St Johns - Faculty/Staff

Our faculty and administrative staff consist of well-trained and dedicated professional educators. All 34 faculty members hold Bachelor’s degrees and approximately 45% of our faculty holds a Master’s degree. Faculty members are required to have Maryland State Department of Education teaching certificates or must be actively working on their certification.

In addition to the faculty, principal, and assistant principal, the administrative staff consists of a front office receptionist, office assistant, secretary, business manager, director of institutional advancement, full-time school nurse, school counselor, nineteen classroom teaching assistants, one part-time reading teacher, one part-time QUEST enrichment teacher, and one part-time band instructor.

Through Central Maryland Ministries, our faculty can work toward their required catechist certification by attending various religion courses; as well as, attend yearly retreats, and in-house catechist certification opportunities.

In 2006, St. John Regional formed a partnership with Mount St. Mary’s University’s (MSMU) Professional Development Schools program (PDS), providing the SJRCS faculty with many available workshops and in-service opportunities through the faculty and staff from MSMU.
