Faculty/Staff

Our faculty and administrative staff consist of well-trained and dedicated professional educators. All 36 faculty members hold Bachelor’s degrees and approximately 45% of our faculty holds a Master’s degree. Faculty members are required to have Maryland State Department of Education teaching certificates or must be actively working on their certification.

In addition to the faculty, principal, and assistant principal, the administrative staff consists of a front office receptionist, office assistant, secretary, business manager, director of development and marketing, director of admissions, full-time school nurse, school counselor, nineteen classroom teaching assistants, and one part-time band instructor.

Our faculty completes requirements for catechist certification as designed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore Department of Evangelization and Catechesis.  Faculty members also participate in  yearly retreats and in-house professional development opportunities.

In 2006, St. John Regional formed a partnership with Mount St. Mary’s University’s (MSMU) Professional Development Schools program (PDS), providing the SJRCS faculty with many available workshops and in-service opportunities through the faculty and staff from MSMU.
