Spaghetti
Dinner
Come join us for an evening of home cooked spaghetti
and all the trimmings! The 7th & 8th grade
does an awesome job providing service to the table....a
great evening for the whole family!
Keys
Game Concessions
SJRCS operates
the 1st base concession stand at the Frederick Keys
Stadium. Each family is asked to commit to work 2 games…that
could be one person volunteering for 2 games OR 2 people
volunteering for the same game. This is a great
way for parents to meet new people and support your
school! We receive a portion of the sales from each
game. This has proven to be very profitable and a great
way to spread the SJRCS name in the community.

Spring Fair
and Auction
This is SJRCS’ largest fund raiser and it takes
most of the year to get ready for it! Many different
events go under the title “Spring Fair”
which include… the adult-only Gala Auction, 5K
Fun Run, golf tournament, Basket Bingo, ushering at
the Preakness Horse Race, and the actual carnival itself.
The carnival features a large food concession tent,
live music, lots of games for the kids, inflatables
(moon bounce, slides and more) a rock climbing wall,
crafts, adult and children’s baskets that you
can buy chances to win, a silent and live auction and
the drawing for the $10,000 Raffle!
If you aren’t able to volunteer during the year
at anything else, you should plan on giving a few hours
of your time to the Spring Fair. There’s
a great need for volunteer workers –help with
set up, man a game, sell tickets, scoop ice cream, make
a cake for the cake walk, cook hotdogs...there’s
a role for everyone and your time is desperately needed!
Bring your friends and neighbors to the fair and
enjoy a great start to summer and the end of a wonderful
school year!
Used Uniform
Sale
The used uniform sale is a great way to purchase clothes
for your child and an even better way of moving those
“too small” uniforms out of the closet!
Clothes should be dropped off in bags marked with your
name a few days prior to the end of school. The sale
takes place a day or two after school ends....don’t
worry, we will send out lots more information near the
end of the school year.

Pool Coordinator
New this year we are offering a service of linking
families that live in the same area who are interested
in Car Pooling to school! Save yourself some gas and
time!
Box tops for
Education
You’ve seen the boxtop coupons on cereals and
other products, but maybe this is your first time
collecting them! Our school gets 10 cents per boxtop.
So clip away and turn them into your homeroom or into
the specially marked box in the office. Be sure
to write your child’s name on the back and their
homeroom (such as KA or 3B) so they can be eligible
for prizes.
Campbell’s
Labels
Turn in your Campbell’s labels for
money for the school. An easy way to help out!
