National
Jr. Honor Society
National Junior Honor Society Members are chosen
for and then expected to continue their exemplary contributions
to the school and community. The National Junior Honor
Society ranks as one of the oldest and most prestigious
national organizations for middle level students. Chapters
exist in more than 60 percent of the nation’s
middle level schools and, since 1929; millions of students
have been selected for membership. NJHS is sponsored
by the National Association of Secondary School Principals,
which also sponsors the National Honor Society.

Student Council
The purpose of the SJRCS Student Council is to discuss
ideas and problems relating to the student body, to encourage
high standards of academic achievement among the student
body, to assist the administration and faculty whenever
possible, and to develop organizational, leadership and
citizenship skills among students. |
Clubs

| A variety of extra-curricular activities are offered to complement the academic curriculum including band, chorus, Irish dance, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, yearbook club, Student Council, Light of Hope Service Group, Stock Market Game and National Jr. Honor Society. |
